Meet Aidan

I work primarily with men who feel stuck, overwhelmed, emotionally disconnected, or unsure of how to move forward in their lives. Many of the clients I work with are dealing with anxiety, stress, depression, addiction, relationship difficulties, burnout, or a persistent sense that something feels “off,” even if they struggle to fully explain why.

My approach to therapy is practical, evidence-based, and collaborative. I believe therapy should lead to meaningful real-world change—not just insight or conversation for its own sake. Together, we’ll work to better understand the patterns, experiences, and internal pressures that may be keeping you stuck, while also developing practical strategies that help you move forward with greater clarity, confidence, and direction.

As a male therapist, I understand how difficult it can be to open up, especially when you’ve spent years feeling pressure to stay composed, self-reliant, or emotionally in control. You do not need to “be good at therapy” for this process to be helpful. My goal is to create a space where you can speak honestly, think clearly, and work through challenges in a way that feels authentic, practical, and sustainable.

I am a Registered Psychotherapist based in Newmarket, Ontario and currently offer virtual therapy to adults across the province.

Areas of Focus

  • Anxiety can show up as constant worry, overthinking, difficulty relaxing, racing thoughts, or feeling stuck in your head. Together, we’ll work to understand the patterns driving anxiety, build practical coping strategies, and help you feel more grounded, confident, and in control.

  • Relationships can be complicated - whether you’re struggling with communication, conflict, trust, dating, separation, or feeling disconnected from others. Therapy can help you better understand relationship patterns, improve communication, and build healthier, more fulfilling connections.

  • You may feel overwhelmed, exhausted, unmotivated, or like you’re going through the motions without a clear sense of direction. Therapy can help you understand what’s contributing to these feelings, reconnect with your values and goals, and create meaningful change in your day-to-day life.

  • Depression does not always look like sadness. It can show up as low motivation, numbness, irritability, hopelessness, or feeling disconnected from yourself and others. Together, we’ll work to better understand what’s happening beneath the surface and develop practical strategies to help you move forward.

  • You may be struggling with substance use, pornography, gambling, or other behaviours that feel difficult to control or stop. Therapy can help you understand the role these behaviours play in your life, identify underlying patterns, and build healthier ways of coping.

  • Anger is often more complex than it appears. You may find yourself reacting more strongly than you want to, bottling things up, or struggling to express emotions effectively. Therapy can help you better understand your emotional patterns and develop healthier ways of responding under stress.

  • Low confidence can affect relationships, work, decision-making, and how you see yourself. Together, we’ll work to identify the beliefs and experiences shaping your self-image while building greater self-awareness, confidence, and self-trust.

  • Concerns related to intimacy, sex, or sexuality can feel difficult to talk about—but they are common and important. Therapy provides a space to openly explore challenges related to intimacy, sexual concerns, performance anxiety, communication, or relationship dynamics without judgment.

You do not need to fit neatly into one category.

Many people experience challenges that overlap across multiple areas.

What to Expect

1) Book a Free Consultation

A free consultation gives us an opportunity to discuss what’s bringing you to therapy, answer questions, and determine whether we’re a good fit to work together.

2) Build Clarity

Early sessions focus on understanding your experiences, identifying patterns, and clarifying what feels stuck, overwhelming, or difficult to navigate. Together, we’ll identify meaningful goals and determine what changes you want to work toward.

3) Develop Strategies

Therapy is not just about talking—it’s about creating meaningful change outside of sessions. We’ll work collaboratively to build practical tools, strengthen self-awareness, and create sustainable changes that align with your goals and values.

  • No. Many people begin therapy knowing something feels off without knowing exactly why. Part of therapy is making sense of that together.

  • You don’t need to be.
Reach out through our contact form or schedule a call—we’ll walk you through the next steps and answer any questions along the way.

  • Most clients begin with weekly or biweekly sessions, though frequency depends on your goals, preferences, and circumstances.
